Marked R.W. & S. Sterling for R. Wallace and Sons. W monogram on stem is for Willard, in all likeliehood Bradford and Elise Willard from the mid 20th century. From the Bradford Family Collection. Collected from the Elizabeth Bradford Rusnell Estate in Taos, NM, the family including the Willards were directly descended from William Bradford, the first Governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
