Description

Marked S. Bramhall for Sylvanus Bramhall (b.1758 d.1839) silversmith of Massachusetts including Worcester and Boston. At a young age Sylvanus joined the Continental Army and is considered a Revolutionary War Hero. On the handle is etched the monogram of DB for Deborah Bradford (b. 1802), daughter of Nathaniel (3) and Deborah Bradford and 4X great granddaughter of William Bradford. Called a ‘pap’ spoon on the attached label, it was probably used by Deborah when she was a child. 7.25″ 1.2 oz.
