Style Mark #1701A New York and marked STERLING. George III style with etched icanthus wreath cartouche with no monogram. Theodore B. Starr was a company of silversmiths founded in New York in 1862 by Theodore Starr. The company went through a couple of different manifestations until they settled on Theadore B. Starr in 1877.
