Taos artist, Thom Wheeler, crafts custom “brevet” wall art from aircraft aluminum, copper, precious and semi-precious stones, and other materials in his expansive studio in Taos, NM. This is an example of Wheeler’s “Bear Cross” made with etched metal heart over aircraft aluminum with a green cabochon central stone. It is signed and dated on the lower right. The piece has minor, almost imperceptible, scratches. It comes ready to hang with a swivel hanger on the rear. 14.5″x8.5″x.75″
